1. To register more number of boilers and factories and bring those unregistered ones under the statute (Acts, Rules and Regulations) so as to ensure the Occupational Safety & Health and Welfare of all the workers working therein.
2. To carry out regular inspections and monitoring of all registered and unregistered factories and make sure that they complied to the provisions of Act, Rules and Regulations, especially with regards to safety and Health.
3. To conduct more number of awareness programme on Occupational Safety and Health and promote Industrial safety culture for all the workers working at work places especially for those workers working in hazardous manufacturing processes units such as Stone Crusher, Stone cutting etc. Which are prone to an Occupational disease called "silicosis".
